Lizzie is a temperamental teenager who is forced to spend a few days with her grandmother due to an incident at school. Her parents are confident that the calm and peaceful atmosphere of the ranch will be beneficial to the difficult young woman. Lizzie slowly relaxes into her new routine and she puts her energy into meeting and helping the horse on the ranch, whom she names Hope. Accidentally, Lizzie discovers that her grandmother is about to lose everything due to financial difficulties. It is then that the energetic and resourceful young woman devises a plan to save the ranch and in the process, save Hope as well. This is a moving story that demonstrates the power of love and the positive influence of family.
