How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings. They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of Your house, And You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures. For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light. Psalm 36:7-9

***** SCRIPTURE PRAYER OF THE WEEK – Pray the Scripture *****
Psalms 40:11
[11]Do not withhold Your tender mercies from me, O Lord; Let Your lovingkindness and Your truth continually preserve me.
***** SCRIPTURE OF THE WEEK – FOR THOUGHT & MEDITATION *****
John 6:1-14
[1]After these things Jesus went over the Sea of Galilee, which is the Sea of Tiberias.
[2]Then a great multitude followed Him, because they saw His signs which He performed on those who were diseased.
[3]And Jesus went up on the mountain, and there He sat with His disciples.
[4]Now the Passover, a feast of the Jews, was near.
[5]Then Jesus lifted up His eyes, and seeing a great multitude coming toward Him, He said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?”
[6]But this He said to test him, for He Himself knew what He would do.
[7]Philip answered Him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may have a little.”
[8]One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to Him,
[9]“There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?”
[10]Then Jesus said, “Make the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.
[11]And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks He distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted.
[12]So when they were filled, He said to His disciples, “Gather up the fragments that remain, so that nothing is lost.”
[13]Therefore they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves which were left over by those who had eaten.
[14]Then those men, when they had seen the sign that Jesus did, said, “This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world.”
Psalms 35:27-28
[27]Let them shout for joy and be glad, Who favor my righteous cause; And let them say continually, “Let the Lord be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”
[28]And my tongue shall speak of Your righteousness And of Your praise all the day long.
Matthew 14:22-33
[22]Immediately Jesus made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, while He sent the multitudes away.
[23]And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. Now when evening came, He was alone there.
[24]But the boat was now in the middle of the sea, tossed by the waves, for the wind was contrary.
[25]Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea.
[26]And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out for fear.
[27]But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.”
[28]And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.”
[29]So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus.
[30]But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!”
[31]And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”
[32]And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased.
[33]Then those who were in the boat came and worshiped Him, saying, “Truly You are the Son of God.”
Matthew 14:34-36
[34]When they had crossed over, they came to the land of Gennesaret.
[35]And when the men of that place recognized Him, they sent out into all that surrounding region, brought to Him all who were sick,
[36]and begged Him that they might only touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched it were made perfectly well.
Psalms 118:22
[22]The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone.
Psalms 75:6-7,9
[6]For exaltation comes neither from the east Nor from the west nor from the south.
[7]But God is the Judge: He puts down one, And exalts another.
[9]But I will declare forever, I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
Matthew 15:10-20
[10]When He had called the multitude to Himself, He said to them, “Hear and understand:
[11]Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.”
[12]Then His disciples came and said to Him, “Do You know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?”
[13]But He answered and said, “Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted.
[14]Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch.”
[15]Then Peter answered and said to Him, “Explain this parable to us.”
[16]So Jesus said, “Are you also still without understanding?
[17]Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated?
[18]But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man.
[19]For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.
[20]These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man.”

Double Protection
- We are in the hands of the Lord Jesus
- We are also in the hands of Almighty “greater than all” God
No one can snatch us from this “Double Protection” hands.
Matthew 15:21-28
[21]Then Jesus went out from there and departed to the region of Tyre and Sidon.
[22]And behold, a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him, saying, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed.”
[23]But He answered her not a word. And His disciples came and urged Him, saying, “Send her away, for she cries out after us.”
[24]But He answered and said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”
[25]Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, help me!”
[26]But He answered and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.”
[27]And she said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.”
[28]Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour.
Matthew 15:29-31
[29]Jesus departed from there, skirted the Sea of Galilee, and went up on the mountain and sat down there.
[30]Then great multitudes came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at Jesus’ feet, and He healed them.
[31]So the multitude marveled when they saw the mute speaking, the maimed made whole, the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel.
